Fit health worker campaign-2020
Under the guidance of Mission Director, National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu, Fit Health Worker Campaign- 2020 was conducted at Coimbatore medical college and hospital. The camp was inaugurated by our beloved Dean Dr P. Kalidas .
The main focus of the campaign was to screen all Health care workers in Public Health System at our hospital and college for all common Non Communicable diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancers of Oral cavity, Breast and cervix. This screening was done for health care workers including doctors, staff nurses, administrative staff,nursing students,lab technicians,DMLT students, pharmacy students,FNAs,MNAs, sanitary workers,outsourcing staff .The entire screening program was co ordinated by our Dean Dr.Kalidas and NCD nodal officer Dr.R.Shanmugha vadivu along with the staff and post graduates of the department of Physiology and NCD staff.
The camp was successfully conducted till 23rd October 2020 and has screened a total of 1257 health care workers .
