The Gent’s hostel, CMC, is situated in the hot spot of the Coimbatore city within the college campus, with domestic airport & bus stand nearby, in a peaceful secured location, to facilitate the necessities of students.
INFRASTRUCTURE:
The hostel consists of three blocks:
1). I Block – 36 rooms + 2 Guest
rooms = 38 Rooms
2). II Block – 36 rooms + 2 Guest
rooms = 38 Rooms
3). III Block – 17 rooms + 1 Guest
room + 1 Warden office rooms
= 19 Rooms
which can accommodate students with all the basic necessities, with minimal movement outside the premises, like separate dining hall for first years ,recreation hall, study room, student lobby, parents waiting lobby, Gym and T.V. room with 48 chairs
HOSTEL AMENITIES:
- Modern kitchen with latest cooking equipments
- water doctors: 3 plants installed to supply hot and cold mineral water
- Recreations like T.V. hall, reading rooms, indoor play area.

- Residential warden within the premises.
- Medical facilities provided with personal care in case of emergencies under personal supervision of the Dean, Coimbatore medical college & hostel administration.

- first aid & medicines are provided under the supervision of wardens

RAGGING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Continuous monitoring of first year students is done by wardens & Antiragging committee & Stay in duty is allotted for staffs in rotation to monitor students in Hostel during nights. First years are allotted separate floor for accommodation with staff staying with them all nights. Special squad team is appointed by The Dean to visit hostel & college premises to prevent ragging. Counseling is given to students regarding their problems & steps are made to rectify them immediately.
