               DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY

 HISTORY
                 The Department of Pathology at CoimbatoreMedical College was started in the year 1969. 
                 Histopathology laboratory services and academic activities are functioning in the college campus.
                 Cytopathology and hematology laboratory services are provided in hospital campus.Emergency laboratory services are available 24x7.
Now we have 200 Undergraduate students every year from 2021.
Post graduate course in M.D pathology was started in May 2007 with four students per year and later from 2010, the number of post graduate seats increased from 4 to 7.
 Paramedical courses available include - DMLT, D.Pharm, BSc. Radiology, B.Sc. Cardiology technician and B.Sc. Dialysis.
